CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates)
Every child in the foster care system deserves someone in their corner. CASA of Rock County recruits and trains community volunteers to serve as Court Appointed Special Advocates for children who have experienced abuse and are in the temporary custody of the child welfare system. Using a trauma-informed approach, CASA volunteers provide stability, build trust, and advocate for the best interest of each child, making recommendations that help guide court decisions affecting their physical and emotional wellbeing
