Emergency Assistance Program
When a household hits a wall, whether it is an unexpected bill, a lost job, or a gap between paychecks, The Salvation Army Rock County's Emergency Assistance Program is there to help. Services include case management, motel vouchers for people without shelter, utility payment assistance, thrift store vouchers, transportation assistance, rental assistance, and access to a food pantry. Help is available to anyone in need.
Feeding Program
No one in the Blackhawk Region should go hungry. The Salvation Army serves free, nutritionally balanced community meals on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from noon to 1 p.m. in Janesville, and Tuesday and Thursday from noon to 1 p.m. in Beloit. The meal program is open to anyone, no questions asked, no paperwork required. It is also a safe space to connect with others and find additional support.
